Yes, the user must provide their IBAN and email address to give one-time consent for billing via Direct Bill. Selected callers with high creditworthiness are given the option to register. In consultation with the service provider, the user base can be individually expanded.
The daily, weekly, and monthly budget depends on the individual usage and payment behavior of the user. High-credit callers receive budgets similar to those available with premium-rate numbers.
Payment defaults can occur, although First Telecom’s long experience in offline billing effectively minimizes them. Ultimately, the rate of defaults also depends on the service. For long-term customer relationships, the default rate is typically in the low single-digit percentage range.
